CESKY KRUMLOV
This town is a pearl strung on the chain of the Sumava mountains and protected by UNESCO.  The Vltava river starts here and is but a narrow, very clean stream. Below the castle is a winding romantic walk for lovers. A gallery here is devoted to Egon Schiele, the controversial Austrian erotic painter who lived and painted here at the beginning of the century before he and his lover were driven out of town by the conservative inhabitants. In the summer theatre plays are performed in a park with a unique revolving stage.
